Dalian LCL groupage shipping to Perth

Client Information: Mr. Li;
Shipping Route: Dalian to Perth;
Case Summary: Mr. Li from Dalian used Seapoe's door-to-door double-clearance service to ship household items from China to Perth, Australia.

Perth is the capital of Western Australia and the fourth-largest city in Australia, located on the banks of the Swan River at the southwestern corner of the country. Perth offers spacious living environments and a high quality of life, consistently ranking near the top in annual global assessments of the world's most livable cities—reflecting its excellent living conditions, quality of life, and social welfare. Recently, Mr. Li from Dalian chose Seapoe's door-to-door double-clearance service to ship household furniture and personal items from China to Sydney, Australia.

There are generally two ways to ship personal belongings by sea to Perth, Australia. One is LCL (less than container load), which means sharing a container with others and splitting the ocean freight—the advantage being relatively affordable pricing, suitable for relocation clients with under 15 cubic meters of items. The other is FCL (full container load) shipping, where you book an entire container for your own goods only—offering faster transit and higher security, though correspondingly more expensive, suitable for clients with high-value, high-volume shipments.

The items Mr. Li shipped from China included both large furniture pieces and clothing, luggage, and miscellaneous goods, totaling approximately 10 cubic meters, and he chose LCL shipping to Sydney. Before the move, Seapoe staff conducted an on-site assessment, measuring the volume of items while also checking whether any sensitive or prohibited goods were among the shipments, offering advice and reminders accordingly. Once the volume was determined, Seapoe's relocation consultant developed a personal belongings shipping plan based on Mr. Li's delivery address and planned receiving date in Perth. After Mr. Li confirmed the plan, a packing date was scheduled, and a professional supervisor led a team to pack on-site. Mr. Li did not need to lift a finger—the entire packing process was handled by Seapoe's packing team. The packing scene at Mr. Li's home is shown below:

During packing, large furniture items such as bed sets, bookcases, and wardrobes that can be disassembled are taken apart in China before packing to minimize the volume of Mr. Li's shipment as much as possible. After packing is completed, each item is counted before being moved out, giving Mr. Li a clear picture of the number of items being shipped. The export customs declaration and subsequent customs clearance procedures are also handled entirely by Seapoe—Mr. Li doesn't need to handle any of it himself. He simply waits at his home in Sydney for delivery.
